Another collage using magazine scrap on the border over watercolor. The abstract images are faux parchment and text from an old book. How easy is that ? It's available for purchase...
I love the magazine border. I was excited to get your email with the news about being able to handle the projects in your Layers of Joy workshop at the Art Unraveled event next year. I plan on mailing my registration the end of this month, crossing my fingers that I get my first choice with your workshop.
This is like miracle grow for my muse. I'm so glad I finally made the time to blog in 2010 and attempt to meet other mixed media artist. I will look forward in seeing more. :-) gg

I love how you have created this collage, less is more and this is beautiful x
You do make it look so easy. Great shapes and patterns.
So delicate. I love the bird cut from text. I like to use magazine strips for borders, too.

I know, I'm lurking around the blog-love the softness of this and the colors-god I wish I had this type of artistic talent!
I love this piece. I'm always attracted to drawing and lines. Guess it's my early years of living in Japan. The Asian sumi painting is all about line.
