recycle and remake

Don't know which I enjoy more, the chase, the gathering, or the actual making of artisan jewelry.  This is just a peek of some remakes, ready for the market.   A class will be coming up soon on Transformational Jewelry, or remakes as I like to call them.  I will be posting information on the class very soon, or, post a comment tellingl me where you can be reached and I will email you information.

male faces plus four

Four male images painted with a variety of mediums and styles.

Top left:  Oil on canvas.  Drawn with a small brush and yellow ochre. Painted in the Old Master style with layers of transparent  glazes.
Top Right:  Water media , painted on 140 lb watercolor paper.
Bottom left:  Drawn from a live model with graphite.  Collaged onto canvas along  with hand crafted altered papers, stamping, and acrylic embellishments.
Bottom right:  An old watercolor painting of birds was washed leaving behind a ghost image, dried, and then drew an image from a live model using graphite. The painting was finished with layers of watercolor glazes in a grid format.

mona lisa moxified

MONA LISA MOXIFIED

12 X 12 Mixed Media Collage

Sooo much fun...love playing like this.  Altered papers, Citra papers, Gel plate papers, Ink, Acrylics, Glue, and a wild imagination is all it took to transform Mona Lisa.  Doesn't she look great in those glasses?   And yes, my works are available purchase.  This piece and more can be found at Catitude Gallery in Avondale AZ.
