Drawing and Composition is taught as part of Exploration Mixed Media and my Watercolor Workshops. A photograph and a rough thumbnail sketch is necessary in order to compose what you are going to paint. The photograph posted here is good subject matter, but the composition is all wrong. The tree on the upper left forms a square shape as does the sky. The telephone post and wires are best removed. The interesting texture of the white bush is lost in the photo.
