These two paintings were done by two of my local students. The first one by Anthony Hall is a life drawing done in conte over a black and sepia ink pour. He allowed some of the ink forms to become shaded areas for the figures. White conte was used to emphasise the highlighted areas. Good work Anthony....The second painting is by Ella Holland. Ella started as an oil painter and has moved on to watercolor and mixed media. The small collage using hand altered surface papers by Ella is definitely eye candy.
